Full Description

Set your child up for sewing success. In this skills-only workshop, we build a solid foundation: safe machine setup, threading and bobbin winding, guiding fabric, consistent seam allowances.

Who it’s for: True beginners or anyone who wants a confident reset before project classes.

What we’ll do

  • Machine basics: parts & safety, threading, bobbin, stitch selection, backstitching

  • Control: speed control, start/stop, sewing on lines/curves, seam allowance

  • Care & troubleshooting: rethreading, jam rescue, presser foot up/down, bobbin direction
