Join me for the 9th Annual Felt Gingerbread Holiday House Workshop—a Little Stitch Studio tradition. Using wool-blend felt, children will cut, pin, and sew a charming gingerbread house, then personalize it with stitched “icing,” windows, doors, and candy-inspired trims. The focus is on handwork and design choices; machine sewing is very limited..
Who it’s for: True beginners are welcome; returning students can explore more detailed embellishments and surface design.
What we’ll do:
Cut high-quality felt pieces using simple templates
Pin and stitch seams for the 3D structure
Add decorative hand stitches and trims (think gumdrops, peppermint stripes, snowy roofs)
Take-home: One felt gingerbread house (or nearly finished) plus a small packet of embellishments to complete at home if needed.
